I knew Jan when her and David lived at Upham, probably close to 40 years ago ..and when she helped run the Sunday school. We always had a chuckle about the time I sang in the Upham chapel xmas 'concert' ..and managed to put the wrong backing track on, so instead of Silent night, 'Big Spender' rang out through the aisles (before I could switch it off!) Jan was always so kind welcoming and became of our village 'treasures'. I am so glad to have known her. Thoughts go out to her equally lovely family. Jackie Heard 27.1.20
