Wonderful memories! Dear Richard, Nick, Josephine, Will and Christopher. Your mum and dad (Auntie Jan and Uncle David to the three of us - Robert, Lisa and Paul) are remembered with great affection and love. They will never be gone and will always be in our thoughts. Your parents are remembered for their warmth, humility, great humour and friendship to our family. The same crazy stories of the trip to france (‘....from an airport at lydd so remote they were ‘building the runway’ as the plane was taking off...’), ...my mum’s ‘dinner party liquid jelly’... or uncle david, Laurie and dad carrying holy water whilst riding the motorbike and sidecar on the way back from paris (the sidecar fell off with dad in it)... or ‘digging a hole and burying the unwanted car on the cleric’s farm’... were retold every time we met... and each time we roared with laughter as your mum reminded us. Your lovely dad would just sit back and laugh. They were special times and your parents are special people to us. As my dad and sister have already written, life is about people not things. We must never forget that. Love from us to you all. Paul, Robert and Lisa xx
