Jan was one of a kind. So joyful, fun and cheeky! When I was younger, myself and my family so enjoyed visiting in the summer holidays. Jan and David made us feel so at ease and welcomed. It was pure escapism, full of simple pleasures and things we would have never dreamed of doing, like riding around the garden on a motorbike, my brother ending up in a bush!
