Auntie Jan from a neices view ??

Created by Jill 4 years ago
I met Auntie Jan 55 years ago and instantly fell in love with her and Uncle David. They later felt like my second parents, sharing love, stories, advice + laughter. The love they gave everyone was sincere and heartfelt. I felt blessed by them both and my cousins. I spent a month helping Auntie Jan prior to giving birth to Will and fell in love with their laid back ways in thatched Church Cottage. Experiencing mushroom + blackberry picking, bell ringing + brass rubbing in St Mary's, we swam in Bickleigh school outdoor pool, collected eggs from the hens, shopped for freshly baked bread with a wicker basket in the local Post office, made home made toys, read books from the mobile library, rode in the Jowett, studied nature, baked and  shared stories and laughter every day. As an adult I felt blessed being reunited on visits to Devon and Weymouth. Auntie Jan, like Uncle David left a lasting loving impression on me which I never will forget. You have left a hole in my heart and soul that can't be replaced. You are both together again in Heaven. God bless. Until we meet again.............💜
